Should my team focus on development or winning on game day?

The question this week comes from Spence, via the PDP Facebook Page:

My focus as a coach is developing my players over winning.  However, winning games is very important to my girls team and sometimes they get frustrated by my developmental approach on game-day. Are they better off having a match-day manager or a different voice on the weekend?”
